About the Author
Fr. Joseph Doyle, SSJ, has worked in pastoral ministry, campus ministry, seminary formation, secondary education as president of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. He is also a nationally published writer and commentator. He has lectured throughout the United States and often is a guest on television and video programs.
Born in Baltimore in 1938, he was ordained a priest of the Society of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart (the Josephites) in 1968. He has a M.A. in Theology from St. Joseph Seminary, Washington, D.C. and a Div. Min. from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University and an Honorary Doctor of Letters from Wheeling Jesuit University.
As a Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, he has led many pilgrimages to the Holy Land.
